Deardorff
Design Resources was founded in 1986 by Howard Deardorff with 25 years
of experience in planning and urban design. DDR embraces projects
ranging in settings and scale and creates unique solutions for each project
responding to the needs of the environment and the users. Each project
begins with an extensive site analysis, which examines the site's
unique cultural and ecological characteristics. In addition, our
client-centered approach encourages a participatory design process.
This combination allows us to offer multiple design alternatives that
meet the client's needs while enhancing the value of the site's natural
attributes and existing facilities. DDR often assembles, leads, and
participates in mulitdisciplinary teams to meet client needs.
